The Challenge
Making complex automation controllable
Enterprise teams won’t hand critical operations to a black box. They need to inspect decisions, override exceptions, and produce outputs that hold up under scrutiny.
Stak evolved in production over six years. New workflow types, states, and admin tools were added incrementally while the platform remained live. Each phase had to improve what the team could realistically ship, while a stronger long-term direction developed in parallel.
All capabilities shown here already existed in production. The latest North Star direction is not yet live. It brings those capabilities together in a more coherent interaction model.

Stak's workflow editor is where teams build production workflows by combining AI steps, human verification, and reusable automation patterns.
Drag, drop, and edit in one view
Solves fragmented editing. Teams drag steps onto the canvas and configure them in a single, consistent side panel. The workflow stays visible while decisions are made.

Reduces context switching during flow building. Quick actions on the node and a searchable command palette let teams build and refine workflows without leaving the canvas.
